Chuck Lorre's vanity card 230 hails Levi Johnston as an American hero. Levi Johnston, in case you didn't know is the 17-year-old father of 17-year-old Bristol Palin's baby. Bristol is Sarah Palin's daughter. Sarah Palin was the (losing) Republican vice-presidential candidate in 2008.
According to #230, Levi Johnston is "a man who so loved his country, he was willing to put on a suit purchased by a personal shopper, stand on a Minneapolis stage in front of a national audience and fake being happy about his impending shotgun wedding." And then, in further self-sacrifice for his country, he allowed himself to fade from the headlines.
#218 is an offer to Levi Johnston of $100,000 to help him get started as a young person heading a new family. He asked only for an opportunity to sit down and chat with him. The offer expires on November 3, 2008, which coincidentally is the day before the U.S. presidential election.
That Levi Johnston knocked up Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol, was the subject of Chuck Lorre vanity cards #230 and #218.
