Question 02

Suzie is a spaced out dreamer.  She would rather be married than alone, and she likes to go for a walk on Sunday rather than on Tuesday.  Based on this knowledge of Suzie's preferences, which item in each of these pairs would Suzie prefer?

Beef  or  Venison

Singular  or  Plural

Nepal  or  India

Meringue  or  Lemon

Alps  or  Ural

Answer:

Suzie's preferences seem to be based on our solar system.  The hint was that she is "spaced out".  The first three letters of each thing she prefers is also the first three letters of a large object in our solar system.  The question tells you she prefers married over alone (Mars); and she prefers Sunday rather than Tuesday (Sun).

Her preferences are underlined:

Beef  or  Venison

Singular  or  Plural *

Nepal  or  India

Meringue  or  Lemon

Alps  or  Ural

* Remember that in 2004, Pluto was a planet.  It wasn't until August 24, 2006, that the International Astronomical Union surprised the world by voting in a new definition of planet that excluded Pluto, bringing the total number of planets in our solar system down to eight.
